Teaching Philosophy
I believe it is my goal as a teacher and historian to challenge students to think critically, creatively, and historically. I accomplish this by assigning a variety of primary resources in all of my courses, crafting clearly defined parameters for assignments with an uncertain amount of correct answers, and displaying the value of thinking like a historian to succeed in any career or major.
